PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Dale Corp. performed Construction Management services from quantity takeoffs, cost estimating, constructability reviews, preconstruction, construction through project commissioning and close-out. Located in the prime student housing area of University City, Kimmel Bogrette worked with New Horizons Housing to design and build a student housing apartment building. The new 6-story building comprises of 49 one-bedroom apartment units with private ground level secure parking. The building’s structural systems was a concrete podium with panelized structural metal stud walls with concrete plank floors. A unique heating a cooling system utilizing the domestic water system and specially rated fan coils provide heating and cooling while reducing operating utility cost.
